Welding electrode is a metal strip that is melted and filled at the joint of the welded workpiece. The material of the electrode is usually the same as that of the workpiece. The electrode is a melting electrode coated with coating for arc welding of electrodes, which is composed of two parts: the coating and the welding core. According to the provisions of the national standard “welding wire”, the special steel wire used for welding can be divided into three categories: carbon structural steel, alloy structural steel and stainless steel.
