A coupling is a component that connects two different rotating bodies (motor shaft, ball screw, etc.) to transmit torque. By absorbing the axial deviations (eccentricity, declination, axial displacement) that occur between rotating bodies, it is possible to reduce the difficulty of assembly adjustment. In the event of an accidental overload, the coupling is damaged first, and the connection between the rotating bodies is broken to protect the expensive power unit and the entire equipment.
